Responsibilities:
- (Standard 1) Customer Input & Involvement (February or March)
- Ensures participation of customers in programs and activities
- Analyzes information collected directly for customers as part of needs assessment
- Ensures agency has system for collecting, analyzing, and reporting customer satisfaction data to the board.
- (Standard 2) Community Engagement (May or June)
- Documents partnerships in communities served.
- Ensures needs assessment includes community based organizations, faith-based organizations, private sector, public sector, and educational sectors (August or October)
- Ensures agency activities and results are communicated to communities served.
- Ensures volunteers and hours are documented.
- (Standard 3) Maximum Feasible Participation (August or September due by January)
- Ensures a needs assessment had been conducted in the last 3 years.
- Ensures needs assessment includes data specific to poverty and its prevalence related to gender, age, and race.
- Ensures needs assessment is qualitative and quantitative.
- Ensures needs assessment includes key findings on causes and conditions of poverty.
- Ensures board accepts the needs assessment.
- Provides oversight of county committees
- Each county will report to the programmatic committee and will provide local assistance with the work of this committee.
- County Committees will report to this committee as required to achieve objectives & duties.
