Hours: 4pm to 7pm (Tuesdays) and 2pm to 7pm (Fridays) - By Appointment
Our food pantry is a shopper's choice food pantry. When you shop you get to select the food you desire as it is available. Families are given points to shop with. A family of 1 to 3 get 20 points, 4 to 6 get 40 points, and 7+ get 50 points. Shoppers will shop our points aisle first. Most items are 1 point per item. Our no points aisle includes items that are proved through our grocery rescue program via Main Street Market and Fresh Foods.
To schedule an appointment you may stop by our office or call. Appointments will only be made up to 7 days in advance and will not be taken for a food pantry on the day of that food pantry. Please be aware that our office is closed on Fridays. The food pantry is open, but does not take appointments. Our food pantry staff is only authorized to verify that your name is on their list and to confirm how many points you get. When shopping you must bring a photo ID or food pantry card for the family for which you are shopping.
Due to limited space in the food pantry please arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before your scheduled appointment. If you arrive prior to your scheduled time, you will be asked to leave and come back. The hallway is not a waiting room and must be kept clear for fire code issues and as a courtesy to neighboring businesses. Our appointments are scheduled to prevent lines and excessive parking issues.
If you miss your appointed time slot you will not be permitted to shop. You will need to call the office and schedule for another day. The reason for this is as explained above. We do not have room for people to wait and do not have room for you to squeeze into another time slot. You will not be able to call on the day of your appointment as the food pantry does not have a phone.
Our coat closet will be available during our food pantry. If you are shopping for food you are welcome to also shop the coat closet. We are asking everyone to only take one coat per person in their family. If you need to shop for a coat during other times, you can contact our office.
